Update: 26/02/19 – It appears there may be some changes to the leak below based on issue covers released by Forbidden Planet. I’ll wait until this is confirmed in printed issues before updating the list below.

Update 27/03/19 – As we now have confirmation that issues 31 & 32 contents have changed in line with the Forbidden Planet Covers. I have updated the list below from Issue 31 onwards.

Update 19/04/19 – Thanks to a further release of cover art from Forbidden Planet – we have now confirmed the contents of Issues 38 – 46

Update 20/04/19 – Immediately after the last update, I’ve just received my subscription of issues 31-35. This now shows us the contents of 35 & 36. There are some slight changes to the paints in issue 36, so I’ve amended the lineup below.

Update 23/05/19 – After Receiving Issue 38, we can now see a change to Issue 40 which includes 3 paints which weren’t in the original leaked line up. These have been added below.

Update 24/05/19 – Any of the headings below ” Warhammer Conquest Issue X Contents ” that are shown in red, now have links individual issues from Forbidden Planet. Who charge slightly less than retail, but it does mean you can pre-order the issues which you know will be hard to get in the shops.

Update 18/06/19 – Another 10 issue covers have been released by Forbidden Planet which confirms the release schedule from issues 47-56.

Update 25/06/19 – From some rear cover art seen online. we can confirm that Thousand Sons Blue has been replaced in Issue 44 and we are now getting a resupply of Leadbelcher.

Warhammer 40K Conquest Series Painting Group

Update 13/08/19 – Back Cover artwork has shown we aren’t getting Martian Ironcrust in Issue 52, but instead we are getting another Astrogranite

Update 21/08/19 – Warhammer Conquest just launched in Italy on 20/08/19. Along with this they also have a .PDF showing all the Italian release dates with a detailed breakdown of the Issue Contents. It’s in Italian, but it’s not hard to work out since the product names are the same English names. This lines up perfectly with the UK release so far. I highly expect the rest of the UK releases to match this document.

Update 10/09/19Issue 55‘s Alchomite Stack has been updated to show that this is actually just the pipes. A component which forms part of the Sector Mechanicus Galvanic Magnavent

FauxHammer – Latest Video on YouTube

Warhammer Conquest magazine is popular, so popular that it’s left people outside of the UK screaming to get their hands on the subscription.

Until recently this was exclusive to the UK. Although Hachette (the publisher) has expressed their wishes to bring this to other territories. It was only this month that it was made available across Europe. There is no word yet if this is coming to other territories.

I was immediately impressed with the magazine (see my first issue impressions here) and have been eagerly awaiting it’s delivery every 4 weeks.

Now thanks to Spanish Website “La Voz De Horus” (Translated: The Voice of Horus). There is now a full breakdown of the issue contents online. Unfortunately, La Voz De Horus have now removed all the contents breakdown from their page. So I can’t confirm the source or validity of this leak.

Due to this, we need to take everything below with a pinch-of-salt, the contents are also subject to change, as with any partworks publication. Personally, this breakdown makes me even more excited than I was before and I’m actually considering getting a second subscription just for some practise models. I’d like to know what you think so please let me know in the comments.

There are a number of tools you don’t get in this subscription which would really improve your enjoyment of this hobby, several of which you really need to pick up before getting started. See our Essential Tools for Miniatures & Wargames Models to find out what the extra tools can do for you and how you can pick them up without breaking the bank.

Update 21/01/19: The Warhammer Conquest team themselves have responded to this article with the following;

This is based on the Spanish subscription and content may vary and is subject to change. Sorry about that!

Warhammer 40,000: Conquest

To me, this confirms the list is real. However, the deflection that it is based on the Spanish subscription is a little light. Based on the content per issue below. It’s clear that there is a very deliberate plan for all of these issues contents. Specifically regarding the order in which you get everything and how one magazine supports the other content when compared to earlier & later issues. I can’t see this changing very much without fundamentally affecting the whole series. Time will tell. But I will continue to update this article if I see any changes.

Last Spoiler Warning! – I have (Google Translate has) translated the content and I’ve given it a price breakdown where I can (can you help me fill in the blanks please?). I have broken this down by issue, so If you want to be surprised by your issues each month then do not continue reading past the issues you already know – Full breakdown summary at the bottom of this article.

We can Also Now work out the full value of this set if you were to just buy the models, paints and brushes at retail value (note this is before the Febuary 2019 Price Increase)

  • Total Base Cost of Issues £629.20
    • (Not including Extra Binders of special items)
  • Total Value of all Models, Brushes & Paints £1101.18
    • (Not including the extras you get with a subscription)
  • Total Saving £471.98
    • (42.86%)

That is a damn good saving!

Update 01/02/19 a shout out to Modelmaking Guru for heavily mentioning this article on their Youtube Channel if you’d rather watch the content of this article instead of reading it. you can just check out the video below. We initially lost Steel Legion Drab to Issue 36 and expected a different paint in it’s place. Instead, we have 3 new paints we had no expectation of getting in the whole Warhammer 40,000 Conquest collection.

This was originally reported to be the Sector Mechanicus Alchomite Stack. It turns out that these “pipes” which are in that set, also form part of the Galvanic Magnavent set which Bookends the Series in issues 79 & 80. So basically, we aren’t getting the Alchomite Stack in the Series, we are getting the Full Sector Mechanicus Galvanic Magnavent, and this is just the first part.

This is the first ‘major’ deviation from the original plan. Originally Issue 61 was part 1 of a two-part set of Sector Mechanicus Galvanic Servohaulers. The crane from this set was even shown in the original collection image. However, this has now been removed from the series.

It’s still technically a decent saving, to get these sprues you would need to buy Warhammer 40,000 Urban Conquest which is £60. These are 2 of the 4 sprues in that set.

Primaris repulsor kit is 3 sprues… and a 100mm base with hover stand.

Do you really think that one issue would be just a base? I suppose it’s possible if they are scraping the bottom of the barrel at that point. I’ll update the article with this suggestion. Good point, seems unlikely. But it’s not an insane idea

The Alocomite stack could be across 2 mags, as it is a larger kit, and that might solve the issue with the Repulsor?

Chaos Spawns are quite usefull and quite fun to paint, but you saying you dont play the game? i dont understand how you can write articles for warhammer and not play the tabletop?

Good question, and your comment about the use of Chaos Spawn is exactly the sort of views I was looking to get, as I personally don’t understand as a non-gamer.

FauxHammer (the website, not me. I didn’t just refer to myself in the third person) is dedicated to mini painting, tools and techniques more than tabletop gaming.

Whilst I personally have a huge appreciation for the games, I didn’t grow up near any other kids so had no one to game with. Just never got into it. But that is just one facet of the hobby. I love collecting and painting minis. I’m personally collecting Conquest as I love the minis. And it’s a nice way to be drip fed more on a regular basis.

It’s a niche of a niche for a site, but I hope that being dedicate to that one thing will make this site a useful resource for those looking to get the best from the modelling side of their hobby

The Repulsor is not the current Games Workshop model, but a brand new “easy build” version (this was confirmed to me by one the Games Workshop managers who had been involved in developing the magazine series).

One thing I noticed is you have runefang steel paint on 2 issues – 64 and 73. I doubt there will be 2 of these so one must be another, poss one of the unallocated paints.

Yeah, that’s a fair point and I agree.

But this is as was in the initial leak (shown in the grid at the bottom). So until we see confirmation of those issues contents I’m trying to leave it alone.

But to be fair. All of the ‘paints’ issues are getting chopped and changed regularly now anyway.

hte other thing I noticed is the Galvanic magnavent (issue 79 & 80 ) come on 4 sprues. Now as the last issues these may be a reward for sticking with the series but the middle tower could be the alchomite stack from issue 55, leaving three sprues – one might be issue 78 instead of the 4th(???) repulsor sprue as L.E. Provan above commented on.

I would be interesting to see what the value difference is for the people who are paying for the premium war sets – like myself. i have calculated that at the moment i speed 1.99 per issue which will equate to £159.20 by the end of the collection. All that I have received from these box sets is cardboard, some moderate looking data card and 12 dice. which in my opinion isn’t worth the money I have spent so far 36 issues in – £71.64.

hi, thank you for this artivcle is really useful, i’m doing my calclation for the italian version, i’ve seen alchomite stack is only in 1 issue, but maybe seen it’s 2 sprue and you have 4 exit for the 3 parts of repulsor maybe is splitted also on the issue front there is only 1 of 2 stack in the set

It seems highly likely that Alchomite stack is actually the part from the magnavent which is going to seriously hit the value on those 3 issues. instead of a £30 + £45 set its going to be just a £45 which lets face it we can do better with mechanicus scenery on discount sites even if can’t get exact same set.

hi FauxHammer you have forgot to switch the issue 61 and 71 (and as for the other separated terrain is more similar to have the parts non one after the other) and the first 4 issue are exactly the first strike set.

Finally i get an answer on issue 64, the plan published by hachette is not definitive, so i have another thesys: the issue 55 is part of galvanic magnavent (the sprue is exactly the same both for magnavent and for alchomite stack), if it as i think the repulsor should be in 3 issue and the last 3 are the missing 3 sprue of magnavent, this is also plus similar to the promotional image of poster.

Really wish they made a US release for this subscription. Though I think it should be on a bi-monthly basis, for somethin to look forward to. Plus, 8-10 bucks a month for all that, over that amount of time for the whole 80 issue run seems more feasible.

I know it’s over a year on but was this confirmed? I can’t find anything else hinting to this

Hello, issue # 47 only comes with the two sprues to build the classic Landspeeder or does it contain the accessories for the Typhoon and Tornado too?
