These are the ones I’ve been looking forward to, when the first round of models finally dropped, I ended up with a spare and so, well as it was an Ultramarine – I decided to fix him

It’s nice to see that we can now just get these pre-painted. but it was fun painting the model above (and I think mine looks better)

JoyToy x Warhammer – Blood Angels

And with this reveal, not only are we treated to 4 distinctly new Space marine Brothers, but also. a Dreadnought!!!!! A BLOOMIN DREADNOUGHT! YES! We’ll get onto that in the moment, you saw it in the header image, now let’s check out the Squad.

Following suit with the Imperial fists release, this range sees 3 Blood Angels intercessors and an aggressor.

Blood Angels Intercessors – Brother Seargeant Ranian

The leader of the squad comes with an impressive loadout

And good to see they got his black shoulder pads correct.

The next two (as yet unnamed models) are pretty much identical,

though this first one comes with several more embellishment and loadout options, this would be the one to buy multiples of.

The second generic brother does not have half as much as the chap above

but he also doesn;t have the little holes on his belt for connecting the extra parts,

and finally, the aptly named brother 04…

These aggressors are pretty cool looking and even with those huge magazines can still pose their arms.

Joytoy Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought

and Finally the Furioso Dreadnought. And whilst I love this, it does make me wish it was a Redemptor

its is amazing to see that this is quite poseable though.

Now the leaked images we saw did suggest a Blood Angels Dreadnought was coming, but much later in the year. did they just mix up dreadnought types and give us one of these instead? They already have the Invictor sculpt, surely a Redemptor dread would have been an easier model to sculpt than this – would have been more popular too IMHO.

Another great addition to the series. though I do wish the Dreadnought was a Redemptor. It’s great that we can now buy these models individually too. so either get one of each or mix and match t make your own squads.

Slightly upset that none of the heads here has face sculpt options and that we cant have a Sargeant Aggressor with a shoulder pad swap out. but that’s splitting hairs.

they are still super cool, I just want more, I always want more.
