Last Updated on February 18, 2020 by FauxHammer

Well, serves me right for trying to get ahead of the curve. As I said for a while I’ve actually got Hachette supporting me now and (as per my agreement with them) I’ve been sitting on the contents of Warhammer Mortal Realms issue 1-10 for a couple of weeks. I had a post written up and ready to release on launch day. But the Cover Art has already been revealed (just like with conquest) by Forbidden Planet. So now we can confirm the contents of the first 11 upcoming issues. Let’s take a look at Warhammer Mortal Realms Contents for issues 1-11

Ok, So we know this is paints due to the cover, as I said above I have the detail from Hachette but part of that agreement is that I cannot release the details until they say I can. But at least I’ve detailed the types of paints covered in this issue.

I can say more on 08/01/20

Mortal Realms Issue 8 Contents

Warhammer Mortal Realms Magazine - Issue 8 Contents Cover

Release Date: 04/03/20

Issue Price £7.99
Total Value £17.75

Another great model and good saving, you will also be getting paint with this issue.

Mortal Realms Issue 9 Contents

Warhammer Mortal Realms Magazine - Issue 9 Contents Cover

Release Date: 11/03/20

Issue Price £7.99
Total Value £15.83
Total Saving £7.84

So, this is calculated based on this being Sprue B from the Soul Wars set. There are 6 sprues in that set for £95. £95/6 is 15.83. This does, however, come in the smaller Storm Strike and tempest of Souls sets. however, since this collection will feature the whole Soul Wars set, we based the calculations on that.

Mortal Realms Issue 10 Contents

Warhammer Mortal Realms Magazine - Issue 10 Contents Cover

Release Date: 18/03/20

Issue Price £7.99
Total Value £12.75
Total Saving £4.76

Another good saving, especially since once again, we get a paint bundled in.

Mortal Realms Issue 11 Contents

Warhammer Mortal Realms Magazine - Issue 11 Contents Cover

Release Date: 25/03/20

Issue Price £7.99
Total Value £18.33
Total Saving £10.34

This one is harder to calculate. I don’t have the detail on this issue from Hachette yet. It’s clearly some kit from the Sigmarite Mausoleum which comes with 6 sprues (2 of each) for £55. Based on teh cover artwork, this will be the Initial Mausoleum sprues so we will be getting 2 sprues in this set (needed to make the Mausoleums themselves). so this is (£55/6)x2 giving the value of £18.33. Whatever the case, it’s some cool scenery!

Literally cannot find issue one anywhere. Forbidden planet don’t have it. It’s a wild goose chase as it appears the scalpers are buying in bulk and whacking them on eBay.

If you’re near a UK Games Workshop/Warhammer store, they are stocking issues 1 to 4 as they come out, and apparently they are not selling out as it hasn’t been widely advertised that Games Workshop/Warhammer branches are selling it. So my local branch, in South London, still has some issue 1’s left. Hope this helps.

If you have an ASDA near you, try there, many of them stock of these partworks – that’s where I first saw Conquest and they usually still had/have the issues at the weekend with a few exceptions.

Forbidden Planet just updated my order of the first twelve issues to the US. They’re planning to charge me 128 pounds for the shipping… so much for that world wide maximum shipping cost for however many issues you feel like ordering.

For those still struggling to find Issue 1, ASDA are stocking both issue 1 and 2 this morning. This is in Fareham, Hampshire, but I’m sure it’ll be the case elsewhere. Issue 1 is ridiculous value for money so two more copies fell into my basket this afternoon!

The paints for 7 are on the back of number 5, its stormhost silver and Reikland fleshshade
