JoyToy X Warhammer – Chaos Havocs Revealed

Last Updated on March 22, 2022 by FauxHammer

It’s like we can’t even blink nowadays without JoyToy releasing another series of upcoming Action Figures. These beasts are five absolutely beautiful additions to the growing series of Incredible action figures. I’ve always been a fan of Heretic Astartes and these Beastie Boys are some of the best of the bunch. So let’s take a look at the new JoyToy Chaos Space Marine Havocs.

JoyToy X Warhammer – Chaos Space Marine Havocs Introduction

Right, There’s not much of an introduction this time, you know their drill. here are some pictures and a brief summary of all the new models. If you want to see what’s come before, check out our full article showcasing every JoyToy Model released so far.

Joy Toy 4-inch Warhammer Space Marine Action Figures - Featured 2

Interestingly, it was just in the last couple of weeks that the Infiltrators/Incursors that GW.com put up on sale in September started arriving. Many people were put off importing these models as the collector’s card inside the box on the imported versions is not in English. It turns out that not only are these collectors’ data cards not being translated. They are in fact, not even included, in the global release…

Personally, I think this will be pushing even more people to just import them as they are both cheaper (even after the postage costs) and they arrive a week after release, rather than 6-7 months later.

Anyway, save this link and refresh the page until they go up for preorder.

Chaos Space Marine Havocs Champion – Slael

listed as Brother Slael in the official artwork, I’ve just called him Champion Slael here as I’m not 100% if Chaos Space Marines use the term “Brother”

The lightest armed in the set, the leader is armed exactly as he is in the retail set of 32mm figures. in that he wields a chain sword and plasma pistol.

I think they may have gone a tad pale and deeply shaded with that head sculpt though

Chaos Space Marine Havocs = Marine 02

Each of these models is a direct representation of their 32mm counterpart.

Finally, one of the more dynamic models in the set we have the missile launcher

This one has a couple of extra components to his name. the extra missile can probably be held by the marine, clamped in the mechanical arm or loaded into the launcher itself.

Where to buy JoyToy Chaos Space Marine Havocs

We’ve said it before, but will say it again. I’ve bought all of these so far from Locker Toys. Even with the postage costs, when you preorder them they have all ended up cheaper than what GW charged for them so far.

Chaos Space Marine Havocs – Final Thoughts

Well, this is exactly what was expected really. based on the leaked image of JoyToy’s upcoming models. Earlier than expected too! Based on the image. it was indicated these would arrive around April.

The Havoc’s are a more than welcome addition to the collection. Now I’m really curious about the Venerable Dreadnought that appears to be coming any time now! will this match scale to the tactical Marines, or will JoyToy like Warhammer just upscale them and ignore the “Primaris” excuse of just wanting to make true-scale models?

I’m sure we’ll find out very soon.

That’s no mere plasma pistol, it’s a whole plasma gun! Havoc Champions get the best toys. You can even equip one with a plasma gun and combi-plasma for up to four plasma shots a turn at half range… it’s just nobody ever does because the Havoc squad is capped at five members – the most sensible thing to do with the champion is to keep him as cheap as possible and remove him as the first casualty, to keep your heavy weapons on the board that tiny bit longer.
