I’ve had hands on with these brushes and I have to say they are just as incredible as the rest of the range.

Here’s the deal. All of the existing Drybrush range of XS, S, M, L & XL have been bolstered with new + sized brushes to fill the gaps I didn’t even realise I had until I had hands on with these.

Essentially starting from the XS, or eXtra-Small brush, the XS+ is a size between this and Small. Every gap has been filled with the 5 new brushes and they have even gone beyond the original XL with a new XXL as the largest in the range. And this thing is huge. Quite literally the “one brush to rule your terrain projects”

personally my faves are the S+ and M+. Squad these up with the original Medium brush, these 3 are the absolute kings of infantry painting.

Personally, what I love about this range is that it proves that Artis Opus are the true creators and innovators when it comes to this style of painting. Despite numerous companies copying this approach with cheaper and weaker copies (don’t take my word for it, read some educated reviews), AO have consistently delivered for more than just hairy sticks. They have a full YouTube channel dedicated to showing you how to get the most out of them, and keep them lasting forever

This new range is in retrospect, a fairly obvious innovation. but It never actually occurred to me , or indeed many of us, just how much it mattered until they created it.

And I’m going to keep doing everything I can to support the innovation in this hobby.
