Warhammer Imperium Magazine Contents List – Issues 1-90

Last Updated on March 2, 2023 by FauxHammer

Table of Contents show

Ok, so we did this with Warhammer Conquest when the contents were leaked. We did it again with Mortal Realms. Those articles have been our most popular posts ever written. I guess it’s clear that people want a repository showing all of the contents per issue. So now we are doing the same with Warhammer Imperium Magazine. This article will regularly be updated to show the full contents list of Warhammer Imperium Magazine issues.

Despite all that, people will still complain about me saying the title is misleading. well, at least I told you how it works in the same paragraph because that’s easier than updating the article’s title every 4 weeks and waiting another 8 weeks for google to show the update. (not my fault how the internet works, but complain away guys, I’m used to it.

Warhammer Imperium Magazine FAQ

For anyone who is new to the magazine or even the hobby in general, we’ve done a quick FAQ below based on our experience with Warhammer Conquest and Mortal Realms. This contains lots of useful info, even for those who have been around for a while.

The UK Release Date for Issue 1 (trial) was March 10th 2021

The UK Release was August 25th 2021

The US Release is now confirmed as January 26th 2022

It is also available in Spain and Germany, but I can;t find the exact dates it came out?

See our post above for more details.

What is Warhammer Imperium Magazine?

Warhammer Imperium is a Partworks Magazine (In that pieces are released with each issue to make a complete product). With this magazine, you get the parts to build and paint 2 opposing armies of miniatures from Games Workshop’s Tabletop wargame, Warhammer: 40,000.

What are the expected Contents of Warhammer Imperium?

Oh wow, coming out with the big questions straight up, are we!

Well, until today when I’m re-writing this, I had no idea. But when you crack open issue 1, it’s right there. it’s also here…

Warhammer Imperium Magazine - Full Army Contents

Yes, those are Sisters and Adeptus Mechanicus units you can see, along with everyone’s favourite reborn Primarach Robute Guilliman.

There’s also some Necrons.

We have a higher resolution version of this image and will spend some time breaking down the value of the full contents versus the cost of a full collection very soon. (actually, I’m doing it now)

Update: Done it, you can see the full cost breakdown by following this link

Warhammer Imperium Magazine - Full Army Breakdown with Costs - Featured

Generally, the models and terrain (before including the value of paints) come to £1239.75 RRP (Estimated as some units are not available individually) the cost of the magazine collection is £701.22. So the total saving is £535.53 (again estimated).

How many Points are these armies?

Looking at the photo of the full collection above, we’ve identified what we believe will be the particular configurations of all the models within the whole collection.

We estimate the following points for the armies

ArmyPoints
Space Marine Army2196
Sisters of Battle449
Adeptus Mechanicus310
Imperial Forces Total2955
Necron Army2304

If you want to see more detail on this breakdown then please check out the post below.

Warhammer Imperium Magazine - Army Points Breakdown - Featured

We’ve gotten near as we can to working this out and it is all based on how the models are presented in the full collection image. Though you can configure yours differently, buy extra issues for the various options.

Still over 5k in models is pretty impressive, especially for the price you’ll pick them up at.

What is the best way to subscribe?

This is a bit of a hot topic, there are two main ways… And a third (IMHO better) way. Below we will look at the different ways to subscribe to Warhammer Imperium.

Now, as this is a Trial run initially, the only way to subscribe until the mag is released properly is option 1. and whether you are in the catchment area or not, you won’t actually get any issues (or charges) for several months.

Option 1:

Subscribe directly with Hachette by clicking subscribe now on their website. With this method, you will be sent 4 issues every 4 weeks and will be charged around the same time that the issues despatch.

With Warhammer Conquest & Mortal Realms, the 4 issues were normally despatched halfway between the issues in the stores. For example, if you’re package contains issues 5-8. You will get them shortly after issues 5 & 6 are released in stores, but before issues 7 & 8 (roughly). However, due to delays in Warhammer Conquest deliveries from Hachette, and Covid lockdowns during Mortal Realms. The boxes ended up arriving in line with the issues arriving in stores or sometimes later. So by the time, your issues arrive, people who buy from local newsagents or online may have already had them all already.

With Mortal Realms, it was an absolute mess around March 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions preventing despatches.

With this option, you also have to deal with Hachette’s customer service if you ever have a problem. Now, to be fair, this was hugely overhauled and massively improved with Mortal Realms compared to the abysmal state it was in with Warhammer Conquest.

Subscribing with Hachette (from issues 1-4) is the only way to get your hands on the 4 premium packs at an extra £2 per issue.

Option 2:

Subscribe with your local news agent. They will manage your subscription and you simply need to collect your issue from them every week. Normally on a Wednesday. However, with Warhammer Conquest and Mortal Realms, we had reports of some newsagents releasing the issues earlier in the week. Also, with covid many shops were shut preventing people from getting access to their copies.

So this method can have its’s drawbacks. Make sure you trust your news agent. In our Facebook groups, we have seen reports of Newsagents claiming that they did not get any copies of certain (high-in-demand) issues. These are also the issues that turned up in droves on eBay.

By subscribing at your “trusted” newsagent, you are unlikely to get the extras that Hachette provides in deliveries (not an issue, remember there are 4 “issues” per “delivery”). Nor will you get the binders or art subscriber extras (if there are any with Warhammer Imperium) which you are charged extra for. Though we have had reports in our Facebook groups that some newsagents had provided the binders at least.

Option 3: The best way to subscribe to Warhammer Imperium

This one didn’t occur to many of us until well into Conquest’s subscription run but ended up the best of both options above. I actually cancelled my Warhammer Conquest subscription with Hachette to subscribe this way. But to be fair, Conquest did not have such awesome premium gifts. more on that in a mo.

This method is to subscribe with Forbidden Planet.

To be clear straight away, with this method you will not get the extra gifts in deliveries. Nor will you get the binders or secret premium (chargeable) extras which come as a surprise throughout the series. But bear with us.

What we learned from Warhammer Conquest and Mortal Realms is that Forbidden Planet generally sells the issues 50p cheaper than the RRP. We got the same discount with Conquest and Realms.

Subscribing with Forbidden Planet will get your issues delivered to your door weekly rather than every 4 weeks. You’re charged weekly, you can pick and choose the issues and quantities you like. Oh, and this pretty much makes it available anywhere outside of the UK! (though please consider shipping/handling and bloomin’ Brexit!)

It took people a while to figure this out, but the way it works is as follows. Go to Forbidden Planet. Add all the issues you want to your basket.

There is a postage cost, but this is how it works.

Postage for ordering 1 issue is £2, 2 issues are £3. And 3 or more issues is £5.50. But that’s the cap. If you order 3 issues or 300 issues (They don’t need to be the same issues, you could order issues 1-10, 10 copies of issue 1, or anything in between. so long as the total quantity of issues in a single order is 3 or more), So long as it is in one order, the postage cost will never rise above £5.50. (I’ve spoken with Forbidden Planet on the phone to confirm this).

Example only, I’m not going to buy 300 copies of issue 53!

As the issues are all 50p cheaper anyway, if you order 11 issues in one go, you will break even. Order more in a single order and you are saving money.

When the first issue of the order is despatched you are charged for the issue and the full £5.50 cost of postage for your whole order, after that you never pay postage again and just pay for the issues weekly until that order is complete.

What free gits are there with Warhammer Imperium?

Yep there are 7 free gifts planned, similar but slightly different to those in Mortal realms, they are as follows

Warhammer Imperium Magazine - Subscriber Gifts
Forgive the quality of this image, it’s a photo from the magazine pamphlet
  • 1st delivery – FREE issue and FREE Citadel modelling kit
  • 3rd delivery – FREE collection binder and dividers
  • 4th delivery – FREE Citadel paint brush set (Large Base, Small Base, Medium Shade)
  • 5th delivery – FREE Citadel painting handle
  • 7th delivery – FREE set of art prints featuring (Necrons, Space Marines, Adepta Sororitas and Adeptus Mechanicus)

The above however is just planned and is subject to change at this time. The Mortal Realms Freemium Content changed between the Trial and actual release – I still want that Sigmar Pint Glass.

The binder itself looks really nice, though I was quietly hoping they would break down the colour scheme this time and give us 5 binders to match the Collect Read, Build, Paint & Play sections of the mag.

Warhammer Imperium Magazine - Binder

I’m quite excited for these art prints too, the ones we got with Mortal Realms were incredibly good quality and as soon as Ikea re-opens I’ll be getting some frames for them.

These look even more awesome!

Warhammer Imperium Magazine - Art Prints

As for the other gear, the brushes are half decent but if you want the best brushes, see our guide. The starter brush you get with issue 2 is just trash!

The clippers are a bit naff but better than nothing (again, see our guide). the mould line remover is half a tool and whilst the glue is necessary. My personal preference is Tamiya Extra Thin Cement as it has a brush, not a spout.

The Citadel paint handle is always useful for those who don’t own a handle. but in our opinion, the old one was better. Again, see our guides to the best painting handles.

Is there any Premium Wargear?

Oh yes, and they have absolutely nailed it this time. If you are new to Warhammer and these magazines are your introduction, welcome to your new vice. Plastic hoarding!

Will this collection provide you with a ton of plastic miniatures? Yes!

Will you have enough time to paint them all? No

Will you still want to buy more plastic miniatures? undoubtedly!

Good, because that’s what you are getting! When paying Hachette £2 extra per issue.

Premium Kit 1 – Chasos Space Marines

Premium Kit 2 – Tyranids

Premium Kit 3 – T’au Empire

Premium Kit 4 – Orks

Warhammer Conquest gave us some cardboard boxes, fold-out game boards and dice which people were not too happy with for the price.

Mortal Realms gave us similar to the above as introductions to new armies but with more paints.

This time, bar the 3 paints you get in the final Orks collection. It’s all models baby!

Once again, I’ll be doing a breakdown of the value of these sets. at £2 per issue extra the cost of these 4 sets is £160 over the term of the full collection. AKA £40 a set.

Update: done the breakdown, see here.

Warhammer Imperium Premium Subscription Kit - Savings Breakdown - Featured

The TLDR version is that you can save 40% – 50% on the models you get in the premium kits. there are some potential things you can do to nab this a bit cheaper than the £160 cost across 80 issues. but you do this at your own risk (I wouldn’t) details in the article.

Delivery Schedule

Hachette has advertised that this is a weekly magazine, but if you subscribe with Hachette you will get 4 issues every four weeks, not weekly (again Forbidden Planet sends them and charge you weekly). Just noting this as it confuses some people.

As the subscriber extras are advertised as coming in certain “deliveries”, below is a brief breakdown of the deliveries and what issues come with them

This is the UK Schedule. If I added all the countries the page would be huge and nobody wants that…

What Countries is Warhammer Imperium Magazine Available in?

As of now it is only confirmed in the UK, but Expect this to come to numerous European countries. My contact at Hachette is the marketing head for all english speaking countries. So if it comes to the US or Australia etc, We’ll let you know as soon as we do.

Update: March 31st 2021

Warhammer Imperium US Release Confirmed - Featured

It has been confirmed that this collection will come to the US on January 26th 2022

Is there a model exclusive to Warhammer Imperium?

Yep, here he is!

Warhammer Imperium Magazine - Primaris Captain

An Ultramarine Primaris Captain (I don’t know his name yet)

Based on Mortal Realms and Warhammer Conquest, the exclusive mini came with issue 5. We see the same again this time. Keep an eye out for this as it is one of the several issues where scalpers will rinse the shelves of them, hold onto them for 6 months and mark it up 300% on eBay.

I really like this pose it would be cool in a diorama or duel scenario with someone bringing down a large sword aiming to cleave this chap in twain. Though the hand with the plasma pistol just doesn’t look like it’s at the right angle to me. good job kit-bashing is a thing.

Are there any Hidden Charges?

Not really hidden, if you read the small print. After the First Binder, Hachette will charge you for each of the 3 additional binders they send you throughout the series.

There will likely be some exclusive gear too. With Warhammer Conquest, this was some (mostly Silver templars) books. With Mortal Realms, it was a 3 part Novella. When these are available Hachette will auto-enrol you to receive one and will charge you for it. You can opt-out if you are quick (but some people have accidentally had their whole subscription cancelled when doing this). If you end up with them and you didn’t want them, You can also send them back (Freepost) for a full refund. (make sure you get proof of postage, however).

Warhammer Imperium Magazine – Contents Reveal Schedule

We don’t just cover Imperium you know?

I say this because since Imperium came out and we revealed the content of Issues 1-10, all I’ve heard is people ask – “When will we know the contents of 11-20” with reasoning like “Forbidden Planet already has them up for Preorder“.

Oh, sweet summer child, that’s not how it works.

Forbidden Planet can put up whatever they want for preorder whenever they want, that’s their call. Just because it’s there doesn’t mean that anyone knows any more than “it’s coming out”, and as Covid showed us with Mortal Realms, we can’t even fully guarantee when it’s coming.

As we saw with previous Magazines, Forbidden Planet will put up issues for preorder as and when they get round to it. Here they did 10 at a time, several weeks before they came out, but previously they’ve done 4 at a time, 6 at a time. 12 at a time, sometimes they have left it until just a few weeks before release to make them available.

Sometimes they release the issue contents before us, they are a huge company and they will do their bit when an employee is free to do it.

Here’s how I plan to do it.

I’m aiming to keep in line with the delivery schedule and reveal the contents of the next 4 issues every 4 weeks.

Warhammer Imperium Contents Per Issue Breakdown

Right here we go, this list will get progressively larger as we get new info every 4 weeks. and we’ll do a post on each set of issues as we get them along with updating this master list.

If you are familiar with the first issues from the last two magazine’s this first issue may seem like a poultry offering. As Warhammer Conquest gave us 3 Space Easy-Build Space marines, some paints and a brush (about £20 worth RRP) and Mortal Realms Gave us 3 Sequitors and 10 Chainrasps (again about £20 worth RRP). here we only get 2 models

but 2 awesome models

But to be fair, the average Space Marine Lieutenant will cost you £20 alone, a character like a Royal warden would around £15. There’s arguably more value here than any previous mag’s issue 1. Obviously, it’s not this simple. Realistically you can get both of these models in the Recruit Edition Starter Set which is £35 for 17 models (20 including the 3 scarab swarms) then the retail value of these individual models is anywhere from £3.50 to £4.10. Yeah, that’s for both, not each… Sure you could say this is 1 sprue from that set in which case the value of Sprue C is anywhere from £8.75 (Command Edition) to £13 (Elite Edition) – I’ll stick with sprue price to make it more consistent with other sets.

This actually seems sensible. With those previous magazines, you were given a crazy amount of value, and that welcomed scalpers and profiteers from all walks to rip these magazines from shelves before you loyal fans even got a look in. We saw many posts of people clearing out stores just so they could stick the sprues on eBay.

This time the results of Issue 1 sales should be more realistic for Hachette to predict the popularity of the upcoming series. Let’s be fair, for £3, many of you are still gonna be pulling multiple copies from the shelves just to have some cool practice models.

Issue 2 does the sensible thing of shoring up your Necron force first just to try and get some semblance of balance between your steadily growing armies. Again, an odd one to put a value to as these models are only available in the “Necrons: Warriors + Paints Set” from Games Workshop.

The Cost of that Set is £22.50 When you minus the cost of the paints from this set, it leaves you at minus -£0.95? already. Oh, and we are going to totally ignore the Starter Brush in this value calculation because it’s absolute trash.

Now to be fair, when we remove the cost of buying those retail paints from the value of the set, It’s already unfair as the paint set comes with 25ml bottles, whereas the shade and technical paints come in larger bottles when bought retail…. and I just can’t be bothered to work this out by price per ml to figure out the remaining cost for the models themselves. so let’s just say the saving here is based on 3x Necron warriors based on their individual value in the Warriors retail set. You do get 3 models which were previously exclusive to the paint set. yay!

Issue 3 is the one that is most likely going to teach the Necron player how they should just concede before the end of their first turn. Despite each force now having a leader and 3 infantry units. The Assult Space Marines will easily outmatch 3 Necron Warriors with Gauss Flayers.

Still, 3 cool models which were previously exclusive to the paint set.

And now for a real taste of things to come, our first of what we expect to be several of the sprues from either Indomitus or at least the 9th Edition Starter Sets (Bring on the Outriders issue! if that comes out).

This issue will also (likely) prove that the only way to really win as the Necrons is to completely outmatch the Space Marine Force. (jokes, calm down please).

The value again was odd to decipher. You can buy these models on their own at the staggering cost of £34.50 or you can get them pretty cheap as part of the Elite or Command sets of 40k 9th edition (where the price per sprue in those sets is £13.00 or £8.75 respectively).

These units are absolute “units” and they are incredibly fun models to paint. Expect that they will be flying off the shelves when this issue comes out.

This is the other Command unit that arrived in Indomitus and its follow up starter sets. Where the Recruit edition came with the Royal Warden that you got in Issue 1 . This chap came with the larger Elite and Command Editions.

The price value can vary depending on how you get him. With Command and Elite Editions of 40K 9th edition. The value per model in those sets is around £2.41 (or local equivalent above) or half of £10.83 if you consider the price per sprue. in which case he is half of one.

But an equivalent model (Overlord) would probably cost you about £17.50

Update: sorry sorry sorry, as above I originally reported this to be the Necron Overlord from Indomitus and the 40k 9th edition starter sets. However. After looking back over the complete army list. I noticed that we don’t actually get that overlord. We get the retail overlord!!!!

Technically you get five and a half Warriors in this issue and can only properly build 4. As 2 of the heads come next week and one of the weapons + arms is required to build the 6th Warrior. (assuming you get the top half of the sprue shown below this week).

It will be interesting to know how they are going to have you build this. arguably the faceplates for the heads are interchangeable but all the instructions I’ve seen identify 2 only two specific faces per model.

Value again is tricky, you can get this as cheap as £1.63 as the per model price if you buy Recruit Edition. (so multiply this by 6 as the minimum number of wariors+scarabs it can be (£9.78), the sprue value is around £5.42 as this is half a full sprue. But to buy this specific unit on its own, you’re looking at £29 – and it’s half of that.

Arguably one of the highest value issues due to the standalone price of the Librarian. This model first made his appearance in Shadowspear and then in the Start Collecting Vanguard Space Marines set before getting his own release. A great model though I’m yet to see a rather obvious “doff your hat” conversion outside of a photoshop edit.

You also get a dry brush. to me, that’s a master level tool! – Because my most advanced technique is drybrushing.

I’ll warn you now, this issue will be scalped to kingdom come! So go and get your preorders in!

Update: Sorry, he’s not in the Start Collecting Vanguard kit. I mixed him up with the Eliminators. He was in Shadowspear though.

Yay, wondered when these guys would show up. A set that is certainly worth grabbing plenty of. These models came with Indomitus originally. In that box, you got 2 sprues of these guys.

Price-wise, as they are not available outside of the starter sets. I listed the lowest amount this sprue would cost, (Command Edition) and the Highest price (Elite Edition)

Some Popular Necron models, personally I’m a fan of the grotesque flesh draped over these scary robots. I’m pretty sure the design inspiration here comes from T-800 meets Freddy Kruger.

Certainly, worth a couple (or 5) of copies of these ones just to pad out the force (and for the value of the savings), you won’t get these much cheaper for the foreseeable future.

So again, it is worth picking up a couple of copies. though only the Seargeant can be built in multiple ways. 3 ways specifically.

As I mentioned earlier, the Kataphron Destroyers that came in Issues 39 and 40

A quick search on Games Workshop’s webstore will reveal that this is not the standard Canoness you can pick up anywhere at any time. No, this stunning model is actually the Canoness who came with 2019’s Sisters of Battle Army Set and, as far as I’m aware, isn’t currently available anywhere else.

Much like the Chronomancer from the magazine before her, the Canoness will be an extremely desirable model to own. If you want to ensure you’re able to get your hands on one of these, make sure you pre-order or reserve a copy!

Warhammer 40,000 Imperium Issues 39-42 Contents Confirmed Issue 42 Canoness

Although this model isn’t currently available for individual purchase directly from Games Workshop (or anywhere, for that matter), A huge thanks to one of our readers, who pointed out that this figure is available as part of the Sisters of Battle Combat Patrol, which contains the 4 sprues from the Sisters of Battle Launch box the 3 from the Sororitas Rhino.

Still, we’ve calculated the values in the table below based on the “regular” Canoness.

I say ‘should’, because people have noted problems with earlier issues where different sprues of things like which of the warriors were included over what was expected – Though I’ve not seen any report of this happening with the destroyers.

Finally our first real taste of the sisters. Those with experience will notice that this is one of the two identical sprues originally from the Sisters of Battle army box and now in the Combat Patrol box.

And consider this a fair warning, these issues will sell out – fast

Price is calculated by dividing the seven sprues in the start collecting box by the price of the box. Though the sprues are obviously weighted differently in that set, 3 large sprues are reserved for the included tank, 2 of these that are in this issue, one for the Canoness and. the huge upcoming sprue which includes numerous units and a penitent engine.

So, I know what you want to know. Which issue has Marneus and which issue has the Honour Guard?

Well, I don’t know. I’ve read through both issues 69 & 70 and neither issue makes it clear what models come with what issue. Issue 69 has the build guide for all 3 models and 70 has the paint guide.

Both covers state “includes 3 plastic miniatures” on the cover’s small print and the build guide in issue 69 says you will need both issues to follow the guide.

Why am I making such as big deal about this? well, because as far as I can tell. Marneus is on one sprue and the Honour Guard are on a separate sprue. Continued below…)

Update: 17/11/22 – As a couple of people have pointed out – Mpart of Marneus’ hand is on the sprue which contains the two Honour Guard. So unless you want to kitbash/convert him, you need both sprues. The Honour Guard are on one sprue and I know many people are wanting to proxy these as bladeguard (a unit sorely missing from this collection) – and why not. it’s little more than a head swap.

So, it appears they are doing everything they can to avoid pre-informing people about what models come in which issues.

This is likely not as intentional as it looks. and will more than likely be missing in translation between the internal contents that GW are most likely responsible for and the Cover details the publisher are likely to be responsible for.

As far as anyone will be concerned, sprue or no, these 3 models are technically 1 set.

But yeah, many people out there will be wanting multiple Marneus himself. But equally I would assume that others want more honour guard.

But how will they spit it across the 2 issues? 1 sprue in each, or 2 sprues in one issue and 3 bases in another?

My money (and this is just a guess) is that Marneus will come in the first issue, and the Honour Guard will come in the second.

AGAIN! JUST A GUESS!

Despite the fact that this is clearly an Ultramarine model it will be selling fast, just due to its value with scalpers wanting to benefit most.

Only one of the marine issues is a repeat from Conquest (Aggressors). All the other marine units are different. They’re also pretty new – all but one of them were released after Conquest started.

It’s been planned out well. If someone had a marine army that was just the stuff from Conquest the marine parts of this mag would be a good expansion.

I received this email from Hachette on Monday.

    Dear subscriber,

Thank you for your subscription to the brand new Warhammer 40,000: Imperium collection. This is currently a limited regional run to judge the level of uptake for the product.

We have been overwhelmed by the positive response to the collection, and we are now working with Games Workshop to bring the full national launch to fans as quickly as possible.

Anybody who has subscribed to the test run will not be charged at this time, and your subscription will remain on pause until the national launch date. We will be in touch directly once we have confirmation of a date.

We are very excited to bring Warhammer 40,000: Imperium to you in late Summer 2021.

    Kindest regards,
    Hachette Partworks Ltd.

I’m new really looking forward to this collection after seeing what we will be getting. Roll on late Summer.

We already know the prices in € for Spain if you want to update the chart. (Not sure for other countries with €, eg: Mortal Realms is more expensive on France.

    Issue #1- 1.99€
    Issue #2- 4,99€
    Issue #3-¿? 10,99€ each

It seems that Salvat (the publisher of the magazine here in Spain) is going to maintain the prices from Mortal Realms/Conquest which are great news 😄

Trial is already on here too, and there are rumors that is going to be nationwide (although right now we can only find it in some cities) But yesterday someone said that he found issue #1 in a city that had none available on Tuesday, when the first copies were distributed. Maybe the magazine will be available for subscription on September here too 🤞🤞

It looks like the prices are set for Spain : https://www.salvat.com/colecciones/warhammer-40000-imperium/
From what I can see it’s the same prices than Mortal Realms which is also the same as what we had in France (I just have a doubt for the premium subscription). So I guess (hope) that it won’t change for the rest of Europe and that it’ll be out sooner than later !

The cost of delivery from Forbidden Planet was right for Conquest but not quite for Mortal Realms or Imperium. Because they are a bit more expensive (10p and £1.10) than Conquest they tip over into the next band for delivery cost:

    UK Orders Cost
    Up to £4.99 £1.00
    £5.00 – £9.99 £2.00
    £10.00 – £14.99 £3.00
    £15.00 – £19.99 £4.00
    Over £20.00 £5.50
    Over £250.00 £10.00

So two issues at regular price cost £4 delivery not £3, and that’s how I’ve found it to be the case for Mortal Realms and Imperium orders (I rarely want more than a couple issues at a time). Anything over that does seem to cap at £5.50, and adding a large number of copies doesn’t seem to trigger the £10.00 band for some reason. Obviously this delivery pricing alters the calculus for the first couple of loss leader issues too: e.g. 3 copies of Imperium #1 is £2 delivery.

Thanks Fauxhammer for all your work across all three magazine series btw!

How long do you reckon it will be till they launch the next set of issues, and specifically on to forbiddenplanet to order? With the costs for shipping, do you think it would be better to wait until more of released or order the ones I want now (4, 5, 6, 8)?

Also, it’s worth starting a subscription with Hachette as you get a free issue in your first delivery. It’s a good way to get issues 4 and 5 that are sold out for pre-order on FP now. You can always cancel after the first delivery if you prefer the FP option after that.

How do Hachette filter subscriptions by? i.e. could I use a housemates card details/info to subscribe multiple times to take advantage of the free issue?

A question regarding hat piece of avise, on the immortals issue, where you say “Remember though, even though this is a huge saving, on models with multiple build and pose options. don’t go buying several copies.”

Is it hironic or why would you remmend not getting more than one sprue of those? I Though a second one would be amazing for a kill team full of immortals. Would you disagree?

ah, then that is the correct behaviour. It should take to you eBay with a search for “Warhammer Imperium”. For each country it will take you to a store in your locale that sells Warhammer Imperium. in the UK it is Forbidden Planet, Germany it is eBay. but if you know of another online shop that sells the individual issues, I can change the links so that it takes people to the issue on that shop.

The back page of one of the earlier issues showed a battle scene indicating that these were the contents up to issue 40. maybe an analysis of what is shown in the photos would indicate if the Breachers are all individual or if a future issue may have two. Seeing as three individual issues come to less than the £35 RRP for a box of three, I suspect they’ll be individual.

I think there is a little bug in the german Version of this page. The german version says issue 30 comes out on 30.03. and issue 31 will release on 04.06. Doesn´t really matter since the dates in Germany are completely different but for a moment I got a bit worried there would be a big summer break or something like that ^^
Also it doesnt show the content from issue 31 onward.

The link to 28 on FP now shows the cover and it says that it contains 13 miniatures, rather than 6/7 which would be half the Necron kit depending on sprue.
