Tech Specs<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I&rsquo;m not going to cover everything, so let&rsquo;s just look at the main details you will want to know about<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10.1-inch LCD (Print more minis in one go)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>218x123x200mm print area (It&rsquo;s not quite as tall <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YSKn5kCWrII&ab_channel=FauxHammer\">as previous 10&Prime;printers<\/a>, but do you need height?)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11,520 x 5,120px Resolution (each screen pixel is only 19&micro;m &ndash; build plaets perfect for my needs as a miniature printer. It&rsquo;s not too big that it&rsquo;s cumbersome, but still large enough to print the equivalent of a Combat patrol in miniatures in a single print run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/geni.us\/MonoM5S\">Anycubic Releases Photon Mono M5s &ndash; How good is it!<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are still awaiting our test model at FauxHammer.com, but on spec alone, we can see this is a high-resolution unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, in saying that. I;ve said numerous times and even shown that we are operating now beyond the point of deminishing returns. With most budget resins, you will not be abl to tell much of a print quality difference between a 22&micro;m and a 35&micro;m printer. So you won&rsquo;t see anything more here. See below for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><iframe class=\"lazyload\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WAc4paIQAvw\" title=\"Reproductor de video de YouTube\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>To get the most out of these higher detailed printers, you need specific details resins, which are typpically much sharper in details, but much more brittle. So for miniatures, these make great display pieces, but terrible tabletop pieces, becasue small components can snap easily due to how brittle those resins typically are.<br><br>Additionally this touts a new light-arry, a release film which takes less force to remove the resin and much faster build plate movemnet speeds. The only printer I&rsquo;ve tested so far with these new and Improved sspeeds is the Creality Halot Mage Pro. Which was so fast it was too fast. So i;m looing forward to test the lowest speed available on the Mono 5s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/geni.us\/MonoM5S\">Anycubic Releases Photon Mono M5s &ndash; Should you get one?<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In summary, as mentioned above, there&rsquo;s likely little benefit in this new, incredibly hight, resolution. So if you have a modern 10&Prime; printer. I&rsquo;d say there&rsquo;s little avlue in upgrading. But if you are looking for a new printer anyway with a budget of Sub $500. yeah, this one is likely gonna be your best bet.
